Building Code Tutor was developed by Muniak Enterprises, with the assistance of Enable Education.
Muniak Enterprises is headed by Leszek Muniak, a specialist in building code and fire protection. In over 35 years as a building code and fire safety consultant, Mr. Muniak worked on hundreds of projects for a wide variety of clients throughout Canada. Many of these projects required the development of innovative fire protection and code compliance solutions for building rehabilitation and new construction.
Now, Mr. Muniak shares his expertise by developing and presenting seminars and training programs related to the building code. Building Code Tutor delivers his expertise, engaging style, and unique ability to “make the code make sense” (as one participant put it) in an online, self-paced format, so you can learn at your own pace, on your own schedule, from wherever it’s convenient for you.
More About Leszek Muniak
Mr. Muniak has served on Ontario and National Building Code committees developing provisions for fire and life safety. He has had extensive experience in the application of building codes, fire safety principles, and innovative design solutions. He has also developed fire analysis computer techniques, conducted fire investigations, and acted as a consultant for legal counsel.
